Here is a proof I wrote saying that e=1. See if you can find its fault :)
e^(pi*i)+1=0
e^(pi*i)=-1
e^(2pi*1)=1
|e^(pi*i)|=1
e^(pi*i)=+/-1
e^(pi*i)=+/-1^(pi*i)
e=1 or -1(pi*i)
(seeing as -1^(pi*i) is not a real number, we can rule that out)
e=1
